Looks like this problem started on 13/12. It's now 19/12 and problem seems to persist. I tried to update yesterday but can't get rind of McAfee installed software in order to download Norton. Have spent 4-5 hours over yesterday and today with both BT technical staff and Apple (I use a MacBook) technical staff, still got the problem. There appears to be 3 residual programs which are resisting deletion; McAfee WebAdvisor 1.0.0 , McAfeeSafariHost, and McAfee Reporter.
Can anyone assist please?
