Recently subscribed to BT YouView. my TV and hub are at either end of the house, so mini connectors were the answer .. or not. After BT sent me three sets of mini connectors, it was clear they were not malfunctioning. The BT advisor then took the time to ascertain the exact setup in our home - we have WholeHome disks throughout. 'Plug the ethernet cable into the back of the nearest WholeHome disk' he suggested. Bingo - instant connection, no buffering, brilliant. Why is this solution not mentioned in any of BT's booklets? Presumably their new Complete WiFi would work two.
