Moving Home without BT Broadband Coverage

If I move a new home which does not have BT broadband coverage, can I get the refund or break the contract?

@vkkchan

If BT cannot provide any form of broadband connection, then you would not be held to contract.

It would be unusual to find an address with no broadband coverage.

Can you please enter your new address and post the results here. Remove your address details before posting

@vkkchan

The address match indicates that its connected to the Openreach network, which means that BT Retail can provide broadband, but until you start the home move process, they will not be able to give you an estimate of the speed.

If BT cannot provide a connection when the order progresses, then you will be told this, and given the option to cancel. Bear in mind however, that unless you can find a provider that does not use the Openreach network, then you are not going to be any better off.
