I am about to move into a flat. I have been checking online for broadband deals. Almost all companies say I can't have fibre and when I go to check on openreach my address does not come up. The building which my flat is in does come up and this allows fibre.
So my question is why can't I get fibre and why does my address not show up?
Thanks.

Could it have been pre-wired for Virgin Media??
I have checked with Virgin Media and it is not available in my area.
Ahh ok.. it might be because there is no phone line installed but there is a cab in the area that supports either FTTP or FTTC... Call BT sales and they'll be able to tell you if it needs a full provision (installation)
