Hi,
Currently stuck in a situation that people around me can enjoy fibre but not me. Really reluctant to sign into a contract only slightly cheaper than fibre but way slower. Can someone explain this to me whether I can see the light of the end of the tunnel sooner? TIA!
Are you a BT Retail customer, if so, then use your phone number and not your address?
If you are not a BT Retail customer, then you need to ask on your own ISPs forum, as its Openreach not BT Retail that provide the fibre network.
If you are intending to place your order with BT Retail, then you need to get a phone number first, by placing an order for a phone line. Once that is working, then the Openreach database will be updated, and you should see what your options are.
If this matches your postcode, then fibre is not available.
