New FTTP install

I have just switched from plusnet fttc to bt FTTP today. I have a couple of questions.

Does the fttc cancel by switching? As at the moment both my fttc and FTTP are active.

Also does the phone line come through the master socket or the ont? At the moment the phone line is active on the master socket and not active on tel1 port on the ont?

Your phone line will still come through the master socket for the time being, (copper is being phased out). The FTTC should have been cancelled if you want this confirmed give the FTTP team a ring. 0800 587 4787
