I recently upgraded to BT Halo 1 and had a new hub installed in March just before lockdown. I took out an 18 month contract. Everything works ok after some initial problems but now I've been receiving e mails from BT offering an upgrade to Full Fibre 100 with BT Halo 1 for no extra cost if I take out a new 2 year contract . I tried calling BT to ask what are the advantages but as usual couldn't get through. I don't want to upgrade unless there are clear advantages but looking at the data there don't appear to be in terms of speed etc. Should I go for the upgrade or just continue with my current plan?

An upgrade usually means faster speeds, what speeds are you currently on? The fibre 100 has a guarantee of 100
Full Fibre 100 is a speed upgrade to the 150Mb service with the present Halo benefits still attached. There is no such service as BT Halo 1.
The Halo part is an add on to their existing services.
