No WiFi

I have just moved from sky to BT fibre to home. Wifi is fine from the BT hub. However I have a big house and I have cat 6 ethernet connections to other wifi routers which give a wifi in that part of the house. I can see them on the BT admin connected. However its like the BT router will not give an IP address. hence no wi fi from these routers. I have looked on line and this is a common problem but I have not seen a solution yet.

If I connect the cable into a device eg laptop then I have internet.

It was all fine with my sky set up and is not a TP link problem, not a cable problem.

What setting do I need to change on the BT hub in admin?

Many thanks,

James

Re: No WiFi

You don't need to change any settings in the hub.  However, it might be worth resetting the other routers to clear out the old IP addresses from the Sky router. Alternatively, give them static IP addresses in the range 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.62
