Openreach + BT now saying Fibre isn't available?

Hi All,

Anyone had any experience like this.

Been waiting for Fibre install for the last 14months since i moved into my flat and finally thought things were moving in the wright direction after being stuck at 13mbs for all this time. I'm in a MDU building and have had the invisible fibre lines ran all the way though the building to a box above my door which allows connection. After this was done I checked the OpenReach website and it said we was like with speeds up to 1gbps. I of course went ahead to order the 150mbps line as this will help a lot with my job as we wfh.

 

This was 2 weeks back, my router arrives tomorrow and installation is due Wednesday. Now Openreach are claiming it's not available at my address anymore, BT website showing the best i can get is 13mbps and as I was leaving work I saw an Openreach van parked nearby (coincidence possibly).

I'm hoping i'm just being paranoid but have a feeling everything is going to go wrong and get cancelled. Who would be best to speak to about this, BT or openreach or both? I'm stuck in the office today due to my internet speed not being up to the task for an upload I need to do so naturally getting this internet is a massive positive for me. I can't call till this evening and hope they are still open. 

Any advice or anyone who has experienced similar with information would be greatly appreciated.

Yourself, Full Fibre 100

 

Im assuming your website also uses the openreach postcode checker? When openreach said fibre available so did your site and thats how I was able to order. Now your site says best I can get is 13mbs.

This is just a customer to customer help page, we are all just customers.

Your best option would be to call the FTTP helpdesk, and see what they say.
