Hi
I've recently signed-up to Fibre Essential FTTC (BB only). Speaking to BT on the phone, they say that I haven't been assigned any phone number. I was under the assumption that even broadband-only services required a phone number. How am I able to find my number (if there is one)? I want it for things like the BT Wholesale checker.
I don't have a landline to plug-in and try.
Thanks

Hi @chammer welcome to the community and thanks for posting, the helpdesk was correct with the BB only package you won't have a telephone number allocated to the line.
You can still test your broadband speed on the www.bt.com/mybt website or via the app.
Thanks
Neil
Not any more. New FTTC and FTTP provides are SOGEA, and no phone service is provided unless requested. It will then be provided using VOIP (BT Digital voice).

The BT website seems to disagree.
There is however this.
