I recently set up BT Fibre with a Smart Hub 2 and 3 discs.
I have an external garage conversion, which is roughly 10ish metres from the router, so I have put a disc by the window, then run an ethernet cable from that disc to my PC. The Router itself is 1 internal wall, and 2 external walls away. The disc suggests the signal to the router is "Good".
The problem is my ping is continually spiking - there is an example below, but it can often be worse than this, with a spike every 6 - 10 seconds.
Obviously this is super irritating - can anyone please help me diagnose the problem?
