Hey All,
I have a home network which has got a CCTV and House Alarm system running through my Draytek Router. I want to move onto the Home Hub 2 as I've now got 900MB Fibre.
The two devices internal have a fixed IP and I have set the range on the Home Hub to be the same range i.e. 192.168.0.X
I can reach the CCTV and Alarm internally no issues.
I have set up a NO IP DDNS Service and set a host to the external IP and then gone and set up the port forward rules for each port I want to use (as per my previous config - TCP and UDP rules as needed).
Unfort I can't get a hit on the devices using the new hostname I set up through NO IP.
Clearly a port forward or rule / config issue.
Anyone got any tips at all on any other setting required and does anyone know if there is a limit on the amount of rules you can set up for port forwarding?
Any advice appreciated.
Mike
This thread that I've been posting into today might help you.
Thanks Tim - I will have a look through it now.
Check your public IP address then log into your DDNS account and make sure the IP address on your account matches.
Tried all that unfort and they match perfect 🙂
