No, its just a "feature" of the home hubs. Possibly done to keep them working at full speed by clearing out the internal memory, who knows.
The solution has already been suggested.
Is this reset every 14 days normal with Smart Hub 2s? Mine doesn't do that, currently up for almost 31 days - not that I'm complaining though!
