Hi,
I was having issues with my BT mail using the Windows mail app and ended up deleting the account and reinstalling it. Since doing that, the folders that I had set up on the Windows mail app are there however they don’t contain any emails.
If I connect to BT mail direct, it’s all there.
I have configured the Windows mail app as follows,
Incoming server mail.btinternet.com:993:1
Outgoing server mail.btinternet.com:465:1
And IMAP4
Any ideas why it’s is not working.

Make sure all the settings are correct as per this link
What are the settings for outgoing and incoming BT Email servers? | BT Help
and also have a look at this link which show how to force the app to sync
Email won't sync in Windows 10 Mail app (microsoft.com)
If all else fails try a different email client/app such as Thunderbird.
