So stupidly BT have made the homehub 2 unable to have explicit 2.4ghz and 5ghz netwroks.
this presents a problem as my home automation products all only operate at 2.4ghz.
So switched off 5ghz in the homehub 2 (shame, but no choice)
However some of my home automation products wouldnt connect to the router. So to boost signal I got a BT Wifi disk.
What I would like to know is does the WiFi disk (which is close to the home automation devices not working) work at 2.4, 5 or both? I am thinking it might be that the home auto devices are picking up signal from the WifI disk but getting confused it it sees anything at 5ghz.
