my internet disconnected and was flashing purple this morning and since then my internet has been poorer then before

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem
nothing changed since david sorted the problem out, ive not even entered the router this is a bt problem
Posting hub stats will show your current speed and noise margin along with other helpful information. It will help the forum mods if they are needed to help
have you tried a hub reset to see if that clears the problem
have you phoned 150?
ive not rang 150 cos in my mind they couldn't sort my problem out since February ,but David the mod manage to sort it out in a few days, so I'm hoping he can do he's magic again
not going to make much progress without posting your hub stats so can see the problem. It may well be nothing to do with previous problem
