Hi,
Pink crosses have been recently sprayed on to the BT manhole covers in my street, along with 'OR' on each corner.
I am wondering if this is related to BT Internet, and what could it mean.
The estate I live on is a new build (10 years old) and currently has internet, but I was thinking (and praying) that these crosses are the indication of maybe an improvement to faster internet.
Thanks
Steve

You would need to ask Openreach, it has nothing to do with BT.
Openreach don’t supply pink temp spray paint so it’s either one of their Contractors and or a PIA Network Provider marking them up for whatever reason.
I've seen this funnily enough just around the corner from here. The pavement was marked out with OR. Some time later a hole was dug, it was telecoms related but no idea what work was done. This was in a well established area (1950's). Opposite corner has a Fibre cabinet and the old cable one alongside.
Small hole and nothing obvious done anywhere else.
Might be worth checking local Council web site for planned work.
It sometimes implies on their what its for.
