I’m receiving a continual pop up message on my desktop as follows:
Enter your username and password for the following server.
Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (prefilled)
Username: My yahoo email address (prefilled)
Password: A row of asterisks (prefilled)
I click on OK each time but the message just pops up again and again ☹️
I’m assuming that as the information is prefilled that the problem lies elsewhere.
The problem does not occur on my laptop.
Suggestions welcome.

If you are trying to access BT mail you are using completely the wrong settings. BT has no association with Yahoo any more.

If you are trying to access Yahoo mail, you are posting on the wrong forum.
You were given the correct settings in your previous thread when you complained about a problem with Outlook.

As has been pointed out, if it is a BT email account you should be using the settings you were previously given and have now been repeated in this thread.
