I am on the Halo 1 package and still have my Home Hub 5. Recently I find the broadband drops out, and more annoyingly a device that has been using WiFi fine will lose connection and I have to reboot hub to re-establish.
Is this likely to be caused buy the age of hub, and increased number of devices connected & would buying a new smart hub help with this? I am looking to add a smart TV soon so want a smooth trouble free connection!
Thanks
have you tried a factory reset of the hh5 by pressing recessed button on back and holding for 20/30 secs until lights flash
remember to turn off smart setup
as you have HH5 do you have the 2.4/5ghz networks split with different SSID
have you turned of smart setup
have you split the networks
@imjolly BT in their infinite wisdom have moved the Smart Setup and Band Split urls, those links are no longer correct.
Smart hub information is here now https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/what-is-smart-setup-on-the-bt-hub--how-can-i-turn-it-on-and-off-
thanks
