I have a sim only contract. Is there a limit on long you have before you activate a replacement sim card please. I am thinking of replacing my very old mobile but would need a new nano sim so ordered one last week and have now received it BUT have not yet bought my new phone. I was going to activate when I get my new phone which could be several weeks yet. I keep getting emails from bt telling me to activate the new sim.

Hi, @royc welcome back to the community and thanks for posting, I can't find any information to suggest there is a time limit to activate a replacement sim.
