Smart Hub 2 - WiFi protocol and performance

I have a wireless network adapter in my PC which supports the 802.11ax protocol, which means that it should be capable in theory at any rate of running at up to 3.5 Gbps.

Current network properties show my link running over the 2.5mhz band but using 802.11n and at a reduced speed of only 104Mbps, the max for 802.11n being 300Mbps.

This suggests that something is causing it to negotiate the link down from 802.11ax (through 802.11ac presumably) to 802.11n with the resultant lower speeds.  Distance from the hub is only about 10m with little in the way of solid walls to disrupt the signals.

Any thoughts?

Could there be something else interfering such as DECT handset, Microwave, or anything that uses the same frequency, either in your place or next door for example?
