Hi - I know the problem. My Kindle wants to connect at 2.4ghz. The smart hub 2 operates at 2.4 and 5 ghz. The 2 frequencies share the same SSID (AND THEY CANNOT BE GIVEN UNIQUE SSID's like on previous smart hubs which fixed the problem before).
So right now I can't connect my kindle to wifi to download books etc on my home network.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this please? I can't see a fix for this by searching previous answers.
Solved! Go to Solution.
have you turned of smart setup?
you can then turn off the 5ghz network then connect your kindle to the 2.4ghz network and once connected and downloading ok then restart the 5ghz network and kindle should stay connected to 2.4ghz
Thanks Imjolly - that sounds like it ought to work. Will try at at the weekend and confirm shortly thereafter.
