I plugged into the exactly same port as the previous tenant, tried to reset the Smarthub and the openreach modem, but it's still solid orange showing on the Smarthub. What can I do about it?

Do you have a broadband package from BT. Do you have a dial tone on your phone
Did the previous tenant cancel the service?
Unless your landlord provides free broadband you will need a broadband package from an ISP unless you have one. How did you get a hub. Were/are you a BT broadband customer?
