TV box Pro freeview reception poor

I've got an interesting situation with my new Pro. It works OK during the daytime but suffers severe signal deterioration in the evening (two nights running now). The TV on the same aerial works fine. As I've got a separate aerial feeding my old BT youview box I've swapped the two boxes over - and hey presto, they both work fine (the other aerial is in better condition).

Does this mean the Pro has an inferior freeview receiver, perhaps less tolerant to atmospheric conditions, or is my new box faulty? Obviously if everything continues to work I'll leave it as it is - just thought it might be of interest to others suffering reduced freeview performance.

Re: TV box Pro freeview reception poor

The Pro box will be feeding multiple tuners rather than just one in your TV. If the quality drop is only happening in the evening, there's a possibility that you're getting interference from somewhere externally.
