One effect of the programme guide not being updated is that the parental control for the channel is I believe being determined by the programme that the EPG believes is being broadcast rather than the programme actually being transmitted. So for example currently Sky One has the hundred cricket being broadcast but because the EPG says it’s is Freddie Fries Again which has a guidance setting of Not Generally Suitable for Children under 15. Hence a pin is needed to watch the cricket on that channel ( Sky One).
The Sky Sports Premier league has numerous errors in the BT TV and youview schedule for the premier league match rewind programming last night (14 Aug) and this morning (15 Aug) . The wrong content (ie wrong match) is described and displayed in the guide.
It has been noted by others in other forum posts that the channel 465 BT Sport HDR programming such as the Premier League Football appears to be included in the EPG only a day or so ahead of the transmission. is there a reason that it cannot appear in a more timely manner .
Today 29 August the French Ligue 1 games this afternoon at Angers 2pm and Liile 4pm are listed in the EPG as being on both BT Sport Extra 5 and BT Sport ESpN channels. This is also replicated on the BT TV Youview Home page Sport live Events where the game is first offered as viewable on the BT SPort Extra 5 HD channel . The broadcast is I believe only currently occurring on the BT ESPN channel so the Sport Extra 5 channels simply have the logo screen.
@PaddyB Hi, any chance of an update on this? Is there still a fix on the way? This is still a regular problem with the EPG and the NOW channels.
More examples on this continuing issue.
several of the programmes from the IOW festival this weekend including the main artist performances at 9pm on Now SKY Arts 364 HD channel simple have To be Announced in the YouView BT TV box EPG . examples on Friday /Saturday and tonight .
Curiously the Now Sky Arts 349 SD channel has an updated schedule.
Yesterday the EPG entry for MotoGP Free Practise 3 was wrong and had an extended ICYMI instead which I had marked to record. Luckily I checked again just before I left for work to find it have been corrected but with a new series link to that of the rest of the coverage so no longer down to record. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy!
The BT Tv schedules for this evening seem inaccurate when comparing the listing with those on Skys website.
Specifically the UEFa Nationa league final shows as being on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Football channels on the BT TV schedule yet Sky seem to have it scheduled as showing on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
The TV schedules for Sky Max HD and Sky Showcase HD for series 2 of Temple (starts Thursday 9pm) do not have a SERIES CRID and as such not possible currently to set as series record.
The TV a schedules for the SD variants of the two channels do have a SERIES CRID.
