Turn off notifications for other matches in BT Sport

There's nothing more annoying to me than while I'm watching a game I get a popup for a different match or even different sport telling me that someone has scored.

I've looked but I can't find a way to turn it off.  Am I doing something wrong or is the streaming service that bad you can't stop it spamming you?

Best advice I can offer is to turn off *all* notifications. If you want to know what is happening elsewhere there are plenty of ways of finding out without the satan's spawn that are push notifications.

I assume you're referring to the goal alerts shown in the enhanced player @Saurbaum ? I'm afraid it's not possible to turn these off. If you don't want to see them, the only option is to use the standard player which turns off all information.

It’s a shame that BT continue with this abhorrent practice both in their Apps and live sport on BT Sport on the box. It completely spoils the enjoyment for those who want to watch a recorded game, be it football or rugby, in full without knowing the score first. It’s not as if you can’t find the result on line if you need to.
