I have a Home Hub 5. BT Home Hub 5 (Type A) | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.264 Last updated 03/03/19. I have a laptop running windows 10 home.
I have configured the laptop to connect via file explorer to two disk devices. One is connected to the Hub using the USB port, the other is connected using an RJ45 cable i.e. ethernet. I use the Microsoft name to connect to these disks.
When I look to open a window on these devices, the file system will not display. A rock solid, but exceedingly inconvenient, work round is to reboot or disconnect and reconnect the disk from the Hub.
I have a raspberry pi which offers a samba share, via the hub; this works as expected.
I am sort of in a position where I can only test this using the USB connected disk.
Any ideas
