What are Openreach doing in Sandpit Road, Calne today?

Does anyone know what BT Openreach are doing in Sandpit Road, Calne, SN11 today?  We've been wanting fibre installed for years and keep being told it's not currently planned but they are currently on the opposite side of the road from my property installed fibre cable through the maintenance hatch in the pavement.  Any updates much appreciated.  Thank you.

I answered a similar question with a long lens through my window and snapped a copy of the Openreach engineers paperwork that he was waving around. That told me they were installing the infrastructure for FTTP.

Why do people need to know what they're doing anyway if your connection isn't affected, is it not just being nosey for no reason whatsoever?

I have and spoke to two different engineers and they both gave totally different answers. But as you say this is the wrong forum for this question, so I shall just leave it there.
