Hi
I seem to have a recurring problem in fluctuating broadband signal. I have had BT engineers out several times who confirm that the speed to my hub is 64mb download. This is also confirmed when I run My BT app. However, the broadband signal constantly varies in strength in a range of about 7 to 60mb using tests such as Ookla, Uswitch etc. I have tried switching between 2 and 5 mhz channels, booster discs and sometimes this works for a while and sometimes it doesn't. Often resetting the hub works for a while. Is this a common problem that one just has to live with? I live in a 3 person household with sometimes 2 laptops on the go and maybe a smartphone or two but doesn't make much difference. I have been in the house on my own using my laptop and still get a weak signal.
Thanks
please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried running btspeedtester with an Ethernet cable as no ISP guarantees download speed over wifi
