Be on the lookout for an Openreach van at your cabinet. If you see one, stop and have a chat. The OR people I have talked to have been really approachable and seem to have more knowledge about whats going on in a local area than anyone else.
They 'might' be able to give you a hint.
Otherwise its a wait and see game and priorities change all the time.
