loss of eurosport

Hi, we recently upgraded to the Big Entertainment package as we wanted more channels, not less. We spoke about sport channels and were not notified we would lose Eurosport when we upgraded. 

An explanation would be appreciated

Eurosport 1 and 2 were part of the premium channels available on old BTTV packages, BT Sport content was separate.
Switching to the new packages will see you lose access to the old content and replaced with the new.

You can't have both, you do have a 14 days cooling off period to revert, decide what you prefer the most, new content or the old.
