I have a question about controlling wi-fi access using the “my BT” app.
I have a Smart Hub 2 and 4 black wi-fi discs located around my house.
I am trying to switch to switch off the wi-fi for a device for a period time.
I do this my logging into the “my BT” app. Click on “more” , “your wi-fi network” , “control wi-fi access for your devices” , “pause wi-fi access” and then I choose how long I want to pause wi-fi access for. For example 1 hour, but there is still internet access on the device!
Anyone know why this is?
Hi @andreaferns120472, thanks for your post about the access controls and sorry it is not working for you.
Do any devices have their access restricted that you have noticed when you pause the wifi?
The best thing to do would be to uninstall the MyBT app and re-install it. Test again and see if the access is restricted once you pause the wifi for a period of time.
Cheers
John
