Hi sorry if a stupid question but when repurposing an old home hub what does this mean when you type in a new IP address? Make sure this is outside the addressing range of the main Hub, by default this is 192.168.1.64 -192.168.1.253.
Does the new IP address need to end any number below 64 or any number higher than 253?

Easiest is stay below 64
You can't go above 253. 254 is the main hub address and 255 is the broadcast address and is the highest address. Use anything between 1 and 63
