I changed the ip address of my hub from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.1.255.
I now can't access my smart hub manager is there any way to fix this?
Factory reset it by pressing the recessed button for about 20 seconds.
Why on earth did you change it to the broadcast address. Why did you change it at all?
i want myself to be the only person who can access the hub manager is this posssible?
No
192.168.1.254
This is the ip address for hub manager.
Is there a way to change then. You say the answer is no but i believe nothing is impossible.
You can change it, but what's the point? Whatever you change it to will be served by DHCP as the gateway address to all devices.
i want to change it so no one can access the manager but myself.
Just change the admin password from the one on the back of the hub so only you can make Any changes
Until somebody factory resets it. It will still be viewable although changes can't be made.
i dont like the fact tht in access control people can see what devices are being blocked.
id rather that wasn't the case so i could just explain the internet is down.
