Hi folks.
Normally relatively stable... but not today. so far 7 disconnects, Smart Hub2 light goes from Blue to Purple, then flashing orange, sits for a couple of minutes then comes back up.
Then within a couple of minutes it all happens again. then stable for a couple of hours.... then we're off again. Router states state disconnected.
What have you tried to solve the disconnections?
try quiet line test to check for line noise by dialling 17070 option 2. Should be silent
tried connecting to test socket with filter to eliminate master faceplate and internal wiring?

We dont have a master socket. just them old BT boxes. in fact a couple of years ago a BT engineer was here and had no idea where the master would be. as the cables are underground too.
But 17070 is silent, and ive manually fully powered the router down left it for 10 minutes and powered on. Was chatting to the neigbhours, and they were the same. so it seems to be either work at the exchange (Cogenhoe). or a line fault somewhere.
