Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

We really need to see the hub stats to see what is going on, but it looks as though your line is capable of much higher speeds than you are currently getting.

To get my stats do I go to the hub manager at 192 then click on status?

Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

You are currently getting 58M with a 3dB margin, changing package will have absolutely no effect on your speed.

Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

For what my bill is a month I see fibre 2 with speeds faster than my current speed for less than half the price I currently pay. Is it possible that I can switch over?

Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

It's up to you regarding packages in terms of cost but you are getting the highest speed your line can support. Changing package will have zero effect on speed.

Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

You are already getting fibre 2 speeds otherwise your speeds would be limited to fibre 1 max of 55/10mb

Re: upgrading to BT halo 3+

Can you tell this by those stats I posted yes? Do you have any idea why I’m paying more for my monthly bill than I would with the current available fibre 2 deal for £29.99? If you say I have fibre 2 speeds I should be paying less than what I currently am if there’s a deal for the exact same speeds for £29.99 should I not? I’ve been a customer for a very long time before broadband was available just a landline
