Hi there.
I've managed to get myself 'Admin Login Denied', both LAN & WiFi indications. Does the SH2 timeout and restore access after an elapsed time, or do I have to reset the SH2 to default, and start again.
Cheers.

Re: BT Smart Hub 2 Admin Password.
You'll need to rest the hub.
First, if you have Digital Voice, Export your phone contacts by going to bthub.home and then Phone/Contacts.
(It is useful to do this occasionally anyway.)
Also make a note of any configuration you have done, for example opening ports.

No Admin Password : No Export 'conf & contacts'.

PANIC OVER : RED MIST SUBSIDES : & CALM !
I had a punt around the SH2, with the LAN RJ45 lead. Eventually, I found an 'ADMIN PASSWORD OVERRIDE SELECTION', 3-OPTIONS available, only there, if you've fouled-up. Settled on Option-3; followed the prompts, and all is back to normal. I'm unable to post images of the screens I visited, because I'm no longer gonged out. Never did poke the cocktail stick in the RESET aperture. Functionally tested all available facilities. ALL GOOD !
