BT Whole Home - Wired network

Hi,

I have a CCTV system in the garage, and use a disc to access it.

The CCTV is hard wired into the disc, and then the disc connects through another disc to the hub.

Mostly this works fine. For 24 hours or so. Then it drops off the network.

What I have found is no matter what IP address I set the CCTV system to (DHCP or fixed), the disc thinks the IP address is 192.168.1.125. So why is it doing this?

Thanks

Re: BT Whole Home - Wired network

I changed the cctv fixed to 192.168.1.30 so it was outside of normal range and it became stable and worked on similar set up via discs to yours - might be worth a try ?

Re: BT Whole Home - Wired network

Hi, I did try that, it was 192.168.1.10, but still this .125 appears from somewhere, and I don't know where this number even came from originally. That's why I tried it at that. DHCP wanted to put it there too. So I am at a loss.
