BT box remote control

I have had my BT box for a

long time The remote control has a few buttons that no longer work effectively Am I entitled to a replacement for free? My contract is up for renewal and I don’t want to renew if I cannot use the box properly Have not required any replacements or exchanges of box or remote since signing up to tv package many years ago

If you're about to renew a tv package then almost certainly you can request and receive a new box. If you're renewing just the broadband then probably not. 

Loads of BT tv remotes on ebay if BT don't play nice.
