After re-positioning the SH2 hub, I needed a longer line cord to reach the BT4600 'phone, so fitted a spare one - but didn't work, display said Check Line Cord. I tried two other cords from other handsets connected to the internal wiring with the same result.
Internet searches indicate that although line cords have the same plugs, the wiring connectivity may be different. I presume this is why my other cords won't work whereas the cord supplied with the BT4600 does.
I need to buy a longer cord - loads available - but need to be able to identify which will work with the BT4600. Is there a specific name or model that I can look for, or where to purchase? Can't find anything in EE shop. Advice appreciated.
