What do you mean ‘phonebook’ , is this the phone book contained within the handset itself , so you manually entered the name/telephone information yourself into the new phone (in the correct format ) , so the phone knows that if an incoming call from a number has an entry in the handset ‘phone book’ the phone itself can retrieve and display the name stored against that number in it’s memory.
obviously if you have new phones you need to enter this information yourself as you did with the previous handsets ….if you have manually entered your family, friends etc numbers but they don’t display the ‘name ‘ you have assigned, what does show up , the telephone number , or a message like ‘incoming call’ ?
