Correct Router?
Hi All,
I've recently ordered an upgrade to Full Fibre, I have been sent an EE Branded Smart Hub - not worried about about it being EE branded as thats explained on the sticker but is the Router Correct? I was under the impression it would be a Smart Hub 2? Photo attached.

Re: Correct Router?
From the drawing on the box it looks like the new design so I wonder if it's just called the EE smarthub now & is the correct one

Re: Correct Router?
If one gets one of these rather than the old BT design and want to change the SSIDs so that one's peripherals can connect seamlessly, is it OK to assign the EE Hub with BT like SSIDs that I have been using down the centuries? All the BT Hubs seems to begin BTHub+++++++ etc.

Re: Correct Router?
A router is none the wiser as to what its SSID is. Your devices will connect to what ever name and password you assign to it as long as they meet the parameters set such as the use of number/letters/ etc. so in short, yes you can use your old routers SSID and password.
