EE Mini Hub stability, speed and use

Hi,

I got the EE mini hub as I am moving home.   Openreach still haven’t done their job after 12 full days so I now am surviving with the EE mini hub only.   The speed, stability and battery life suck so I wonder if anything I can do to make it better?  At the  end I bought 80GB more mobile data today so I can return more to normal.

I started wondering what’s the point to give me (and I of course paid as part of the package) the EE mini hub if it’s so bad?

So will it be better to just lower the charges or make better Openreach services or arrangement?  To be honest for all the downtime I am expecting (regardless of which ISP) I rather save the money to buy more mobile data if I need to.

Re: EE Mini Hub stability, speed and use

Have you checked EE coverage to see what the expectation is for your area?

could also try the mini hub near a window, usually picks up signal better. It’s not perfect but hopefully something to tide you over whilst you wait for your order.

Re: EE Mini Hub stability, speed and use

thanks.
EE coverage is good (not the best) per Ofcom.

Placing it near windows doesn’t help
