So today’s the day!
my copper line has faulted again but hallelujah gigabit fibre to the premises is now available!
The Openreach engineers have processed a fault to fibre order as my UG copper line is now deemed as unusable due to an earth fault.
Now for my question. Over the years I have made many adaptations to my network including a limited HHCP range, many static IP addressed outside of the DHCP range and port forwarding rules. When I make a change to those setting I take a fresh backup from the router.
can the backup from the Smart Hub be loaded onto the Smart Hub 2 or do I have to start configuring from scratch on the new router?

The backup from one hub to another is not possible. The backups are unique to the originating hub.
