I returned a BT Smart Hub and Alexa Phone approximately mid-July. BT sent a new Hub after I renewed my contract. I managed to lose the receipt from the Post Office (I know, my fault!), so I don't know if the hub was delivered to BT and I am still getting reminders to return the equipment. I guess I'll have to pay the £50.
I'm wondering if it just takes quite a while for BT to process their returns and there's some likelihood that the equipment might show up in a few weeks, or is this just wishful thinking?

@pauljcg Hi. I recently returned an item to BT via the returns bag they sent. I popped it in the bag with the barcode label supplied and dropped into post office keeping the receipt, and about 7-10 days later I had email from BT saying they had received my item. So it looks as if yours may have gotten lost. I would phone them to ask if it ever arrived...
It is taking BT about four weeks to update accounts after they have received returned items.
