Router delivery

Hi,

placed an order yesterday and it says my router wont be delivered till 29th. I already have an internet socket in my flat and wondered if I can get the router sooner since wont need an engineer to come out?

your router is normally delivered just before your activation date.  just because you have a socket does not mean that you can connect to get internet.  when is activation date?

I have no idea, email just says delivery date 29th and engineer coming 31st. Just a bit of a wait without wifi.

what package have you ordered fibre to the home or fibre  to cabinet and copper to your home?

do you have a connection like this

Just fibre to home. Im currently with virgin and when looked online was told the socket thing I had in now would work with BT. Cheers

Hahaha really? I’ve been mugged off big time. Long few weeks without wifi now😂
