Each person is responsible for their own emissions but they need help from companies like BT. It’s a global problem. Telecom companies and equipment manufacturers need to reduce power consumption everywhere possible

Since Britain accounts for less than 1% of the world's carbon dioxide emissions, nothing we do, right up to shutting the country down completely and all perishing, will make the slightest difference to the world's climate.
Save money by limiting electricity consumption by all means, but don't kid yourself it'll make any difference to the climate

I thought this forum was about helping users to fix problems with their BT Broadband etc, not about how to save the planet!
