Smart hub plus fttp upgrade

My fibre 1 contract ends in January and was looking at upgrading to fibre 100 but it is saying I would get a smart hub 2. I currently have the original smart hub so was debating on whether to hold off until the next router is released to bt customers bypassing the smart hub 2. Do anyone know when bt customers are likely to get offered the smart hub plus?

Can currently be bought on Ebay for approx £70.

There is an new BT BUSINESS router 3 but there is not yet a new SH3 for residential customers
