Wasn't sure if I should have registered for the EE community and posted there?
When I log into my EE app then under broadband I noticed that under device the TV Box Pro shows twice with the same model number as the one I use.
The one I use when I switch on the box and TV will obviously show as online, but this last one on the right shows offline.
There's an option to forget this device, should I use this option so that it doesn't appear on my list of devices connected to the hub?
I thought it might have been because they sent me a TV BOX MINI, but I don't use it currently and anyway it has a different model name any so it can't be that.
Edit: I use the WiFi on the TV box not wired connection, would this extra TV box Pro be for if I had used the wired ethernet connection from hub to TV?
Should I just forget this offline BT BOX PRO device? I've only had this service for a couple of weeks and it does say been offline for two weeks so, so I'm thinking that it shows up twice in error.
Hi @sea2dog
I would recommend using the EE community forum here as the issue is with the EE app and how it is presenting information to you.
I suspect this might possibly be due to how the migration of data relating to your BT (supplied) boxes has been assembled on EE systems. Other community members who have migrated from BT to EE may be able to comment based upon their direct experiences.
If i inteprete your post correctly your TV Box Pro is functioning normally on (presumably) your new EE broadband connection.
@sea2dog probrably the right subforum on the ee community is
https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/TV/bd-p/TV
You are more than welcome to post on either forum on EETV matters although issues with EE orders and EE specific apps are best channelled to EE community.
