Unauthorised Access

How can I tell if someone has tried to access my router? What would it show as on the activity log?

Re: Unauthorised Access

Do you mean via the internet externally or from within your home LAN?

If the former, it cannot be accessed. If the latter, they would need to know the wifi password.

Perhaps if you were to expand on your reasons for asking we might be able to help further.

Re: Unauthorised Access

Someone trying to access externally, like someone who had set up networks in the past

Re: Unauthorised Access

Did he know your wifi password?

If so you need to change it by logging onto the BT hub management page. You should also change the Admin password while you are at it.
